Large vintage natural gemstone cabochon encrusted, gold tone flower and leaf brooch. There are pink, blue and green gemstone cabochons carefully claw / prong set in the delicate gold tone settings. The leaves are beautifully formed in the gold coloured metal. The design is opulent and fabulous.

I believe the cabochons are raw untreated rubies, emeralds and sapphires, but this is not my area of expertise! The striations within the natural stones are visible in the close-up pictures. It is possible the metal is unmarked gold, but the piece is not signed or stamped unfortunately. The orientation of the pin means that it could be worn as a statement pendant if a necklace chain is passed through the secured pin. The brooch is in very good vintage condition.
